Otherwise I would like to apologise to all the people waiting for an answer, just so much right now with school starting tomorrow (I still need to get my books!) and as if that was not enough my brother went and applied me to the choir he's a part of and the song test is on monday and I'm so nervous I'm afraid I'll just melt instead of sing...

Hello everybody! Today we have a lot to go through so let's start with the most important and most fun part: Features!
As you might know the haiku club
So here we go. *drumroll*
In first place:
Georgia cotton field blossoms with snow
Now this might come as a surprise to you, but haiku is only a newcomer in this woman's repertoire. Just take a look in her gallery [link] and you'll see what I mean. I would personally like to recommend
Steven as well as her writing guides.
In second place:
sound of rain... my legs too long for the bathtub
Ridiculous I say! But what else could you expect from a man that dresses like this? I rest my case. Lets move on.
In third place:
Aldebaran shining above a torero
So many nice things to find in this deviants gallery that it's hard to know where to start. But I suggest you take a look at his very ambitious July Haikuthon 2009. He wrote no less than one haiku and a tanka a day!
These were the three finalists, but let's not forget the two honorable mentions:
whole moon pushes through broken leaves below
plaintive hum, the season's last cicada
Now I hope you really will take your time and take a look in these talented deviants galleries. Add some faves, add some watches, leave some comments, write some critiques.
In short: give them some

I announced in my last journal that I would be giving something to whomever could give me a screenshot of my front screen when the page view counter ticked over to 10000. Since this caused close to no reaction whatsoever I guess it's only fair that the one who ended up winning (without competition) was the long time DA lurker and wife of yours truly: ~Lawofreflection The price has been agreed on and we hope you will be able to see it here some day later.
Congrats to you darling!

I've more or less settled in in the new apartment in Uppsala now. As much as I can settle in without ~Lawofreflection I'll be starting my studies in little more than a week and there's still things to be done before that. Need to get the books, look for a part time job and choose new wallpaper for the living room. I'll be doing some writing in between of course. I always want to write more when I've got more "important" things to do.
I've moved Cygirl WIP preview to my scraps since it's not a finished poem. I would still like pointers on it though, all manners of critique is welcome. I've added 7 new verses, and there's more to come I'm sure.
