My macbook is dead

Uppdate: Well, the verdict seems to be hardware breakdown of the harddrive of my laptop. Probably nothing fatal, but it's broken enough to make it impossible for me to get to the files inside. Photos, texts, journals, notes, schoolwork and some other stuff. The ironic thing was that I was planning to do a backup of the most important stuff just a day or two before the breakdown... well well.
As it is now the only thing to do is to send it to the professionals, which is EXPENSIVE, but necessary I'm afraid. Will take some time to save up for that though. In the meantime my brother has lent me an old harddrive of his, so right now I'm working on reinstalling all the software...

So far attempts at ressurection has failed. Will seek the support of a hard drive necromancer shortly. Untill then, enjoy some of the buttons in my button collection...



Well that was fun... but

I might try to participate in the NaNoWriMo this year again. Against better knowledge. I've got a story I have started but

Oh thats gotta suck, our statinary computer croaked yesterday aswell... i have no idea what my parents did to make it do that.. :P luckily i have my lappy left.. :D

Yup, and the guru says it is most certainly hardware trouble, which means we can't fix it. Right now the best option seems to be to wait until we can afford to send it to professionals. Got lots of writing and almost all my photos there, as well as lots of other things as well.
